I wouldn't go passed Improved modified with #T TSS, full with #BB and .685 with #2 and #4. I tested the #T and #BB with a modified in the 870 (nominal bore diameter). That's plenty of constriction for extended range whitetail hunting.

SaltCreekAmmunition always hammers for me. I love their 3oz 10ga loads.

TSS T shot should be approx 24 pellets per ounce. 48-ish pellets in that 2oz payload.

Try a Carlson's extended Light Modified. I wouldn't go any tighter. That's why I perfer BB sized predator loads in Hevi-shot with a 28 inch barrel.

I’ll be picking up one of the EMR40 repellers but I have several thermacell burners for my pool deck I just refill the carries with an $11 can of butane which will refill about 16+ butane cartridges and I buy a 200 count of pads for $10.00 online.

I’d open that up to a .675-.690 and see how it looked. That’s a bit overkill for a 12 GA pattern unless you’re hunting field birds. I love that all this work you guys have put in has seemingly uncovered the secret sauce that is 8/9 blends. It seems like every one from every company in 12-28 GA just hammers.

The only way I am shooting my 12 gauge again is if it is needed as a back up gun. And if I was going to do that, I would probably shoot the 2 3/4 inch, 1 5/8 ounce load. Other than that, I am sticking with the 20 gauge. Both of those loads are good enough for me.

Man NY hunting looks way better than PA. public land hunting. You guys have some prime ground. I rarely see 20 deer in a whole season. PA. Is over harvesting deer it didn’t use to be this way. And I hunt a lot.

I got a pair also. Have some troubles with audio, when I’m running in high traffic areas…it’s a little quiet. But I guess that’s what goi get for the awareness factor-not having that immersive experience you get from earbuds. Do yours ever kinda wig out for a few minutes, going light & dark, not being very sensitive to the tint? Happens to me every once in a while, but doesn’t last long. Love these shades though. Super impressed.
